Hey guys, I pulled the trigger and got the HM 4.3, with Raspberry pi 3b.. got it presoldered ( Im not good with soldering electronics).. Put it all together. Put the image of v14 on the SD card. When I load it up, it loads fine.. says "no pit probe"... when I plug in a probe it gives me...

Hey guys, Im trying to get a Heater meter setup for WSM 18.5, as well as my Oklahoma Joe Offset Smoker... I figured I can use one unit with different blowers? Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could help me with what components I need to get for a good setup with the damper and everything...

I am seeing some people use anywhere from a 15-25cfm blower.. not sure if that works or not though

So after asking around, many normal offset smokers would need better 15-25 CFM... Would there even be a way to make a damper and servo for that?

Do you think a heater meter would even be worth using in stick burner?

Unfortunately no, I have no idea... It seems more that Weber kettle or Smokey mountain, but not much more... If the micro damper isn't enough could a bigger blower be put on it?
