Brined turkey for about 15 hours, injected with creole butter and let the WSM rip at 325-350 for about 2.5 hours to 165' temp. Came out great. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
Does anyone else add unlit charcoal as the first batch starts to burn down? I do the minion method and seems that it's the same as not all are lit in the beginning anyway? I think if I added lot coals it would spike temps. Any help would be appreciated.
Started with about a 6LB butt,24 HR rub with butt rub, injected with apple juice right before going on smoker. About 12HRs in and pulled off at 195'. Turned out great and served with #5 sauce from here.
Has anyone tried the cheaper eBay replacement burners? They are SS as well. Seem to be ok for 22$ which is half of the cost of the weber branded ones. Also, do you have to adjust the airflow on the end that has the vent and screw? Thanks
Date shows 98 model I believe. Needs all internals and paint. Has small rust area on top also that will need repair. Should be good project.:redgenesis1:
I was looking at this Genny and was wondering if they still sell the lower ash pan for them? I'm looking to refurb one and seen this on cl. Any advice would be great.

How do you think I did? I know it's around a 2008 model. Cleaning is on the list to do as well as new wheels

Anyone interested in a 18.5" wsm middle section ? I just got an wsm and the mid section was out of round 1/2" and grate would fall off( can be fixed by adding washers) , I had weber send me a new one under warranty. Could be used as a stacker unit. Not asking any money for it, but I don't need it.

The panels appear to be tongue and groove, not sure if they are screwed together also. Would like to find dimensions for this and build sheet if anyone has built something similar. Thanks
