Completely agree. You can buy the Pit Boss 24 in. Kamado Grill from Costco for $749.
Weber is crazy, if they think we are going to buy the Summit for $1,500 or $2k.
I just picked up a packer brisket from Costco for the same price. Almost 15 lbs. For Prime, this is great!
Forgot to add that I never see more than three packer briskets at once. They're almost always sold out, so get it when you see it.
Forget the lines. Go to Rudy's. They'll even give you samples! It's not pretentious and it's almost as good as Black's. I went to the original Black's and it was as authentic as you can get. The beef rib is crazy good there.
Nice song Bob. Very Blues Chicago.
Tim, I actually live in Bridgeport, which is right by the Back of the Yards. Def a blue collar neighborhood.
I'll be smoking a butt this Friday night to make some Korean pulled pork tacos. Gotta remind myself to take photos!
I got my 18" (latest model) for $160. It was modded with caster wheels by the previous owner, and was only used three times. In primo shape! Also included a Weber chimney starter and two bags of charcoal.
Hey everyone, been lurking on here for about a year and finally decided to say hi. I live on the South Side here in Chicago, and own a 14" and 18" Weber Smokey Mountains. Started with that 14", but man that extra space is mighty handy.
