    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

Yep Ralph. I hate the way that digikey site dosnt tell you what the shipping option costs in the total. Have got my extension board working kind of by putting the 10k resister back on the main board and just using a normal pit probe. Will do until i get the parts to build a new one.

Heatermeter Aux. Thermocouple And two probe board V6.1(Final Version)

Hi Ralph. It was the 6.1 version. I have ordered a new set of parts for building the other 2 boards. Just to confirm once i have got the TC amp and the basic components i should be able to test by linking the 5v and refG jumpers correct. Then remove them and add in the Op AMP and the Voltage...

Heatermeter Aux. Thermocouple And two probe board V6.1(Final Version)

Hi John Well i finally got life to the point that i was able to build my aux board. I didnt put in the op amp as i had the 77 or the 3v ref but it seems that the TC temp is just way off. The food probe is reading 74 and the TC is reading 195. The strange thing is when i heat the TC the temp...

Ver. 5 Aux. thermocouple/Servo board(Rotodamper) or stand alone board

Thanks for the update John the header i had with my servo's is non locking so if you end up releasing that then it is all good :). For the ones that the holes were 2 small were the pads an ok size like could one drill them out or just way to small and if drilled all the pad would be gone as well?

HeaterMeter on the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

    HeaterMeter Hardware v4.2.4

I would be for a break out board and maybe an external TC amp board so it could fit in something like the roto damper. The one from adafruit i am not liking like others.

looking for a thermocouple version 4.0 board.

Hi John If you dont get one then there is the amp from adafruit that works. Just need to unsolder pin 2 from the board and tie to ground. Davey

    Thermocouple and wildly swinging tempratures

Hi Ralph. Yes i have a correct TC socket for it. It was housed in the same box as the HM at the moment until i can get the case / mounting made so it was inside a waterproof box. I had noticed that something like this had happened in the past and it was a number of hours in to a cook. Next...

    Thermocouple and wildly swinging tempratures

I am hoping that someone can give me some ideas on what to look at. I just recently finished the electronics part of my HM build. I have done the thermocouple on the cat 5 cable using the thermocouple amplifier from adafruit and it seemed to calibrate just fine. I am still waiting to...
