I think I may have the bug! Picked up a Weber Model 220000 (that's what's on the sticker on the side of the control panel) off of CL this weekend. The guy only wanted $10 for it! It was dirty from being kept uncovered and mud splashing on it. After a quick pressure washing it looks pretty nice...

The manifold should not get hot. If that were the case, the control valves would get hot and the rubber dirt protector disks would melt.
