    Has anyone added legs to a smokey joe to raise it up to be able to use it without stooping?     Mangal grill

    Anybody heard about this grill, kebob accessory? Just read about it on the WKC site, made by Weber but not sold in the U. S., that ain't right, just sent off a question to Weber. It's like the rotis rig, but shorter and has slots for 5 skewers, looks great!

    Just did my first turkey on my WSM18 using the ParyQ, could not get the guru temp to get near the dome temp or the temp measured right below the grate, dome read 350, below grate read 320, guru reading 260, I know that the probe of the guru near the meat on the grate will read lower, but almost...

    Just ordered the BBQ Guru ParyQ device for the WSM18, how well does it hold temp, and how long does the batteries last? any info would be appreciated...............Just realized, this should have been in the auto temp control area..sorry.

    First attempt at pic,

    Took me this long to try a pic, first cook on the ribolator couple of months ago, ribs rubbed with Bad Byrons, chicken thighs wrapped with bacon, very satisfied with the results. Ok so it didn' work, this is damn near too hard for ol folks try again later........

    Oversize cover, will it work??

    I got an 18 WSM with the hinge and middle section handles mods, the cover that came with it is now too small of course, has anyone tried to use a 22WSM cover to get over the mods, like to know before getting one, thanks..

    Thanks for the information.....

    Just recently got a WSM 18, this forum gave me all the info I needed to do all my mods, did the casters, slot cut for probe, 3in1 charcoal basket, built a magnetic polder holder, and handles. Thanks to all for the ideas. Didn't need the new door, my seals nicely.

    Why the details???

    Just got to noticing that all WSMs are referred to as 14.5" , 18.5", or 22.5", are there other cookers that are 14.75", 18.25", etc?, I'm gotta call mine a WSM18 and leave it at that and I'll bet folks will know which one it is(save key strokes,they may be endangered some day).........;);)

    Greetings from Turkey Creek........

    Wanted to sign in on this forum cause I do enjoy cooking on my Webers, first was a Genesis Silver that is now bout 11 years old and still doing good. Then came a 22'' OTG, with the rotisserie, ribulator, and smokenator. A smokey joe for small cooks and my newest toy, 18'' WSM, done put casters...
