Ah, thanks, the '.' did the trick. However, the probes are now completely off at a 2 degrees difference between them at room temperature, so I have to recalculate the values :(

Ik have four probes on my HM4.1, two Maverick ET-72 6" high resistance hybrid probes, a ET-72 standard food probe and a ET-72 pit probe. Compared to my Maverick ET-733 (which I believe is accurate) there are differences, sometimes more then 5 degrees Celcius, between them. A quick test shows...

I found the problem and the solution :) The problem was that my HM could not connect to the internet. I added a custom DNS-server, and now it works fine. After every reboot the date & time are correct and synchronised.

After every reboot of my HM4.1 the date and time are reset to March 12th, 5:55pm. Only a browser sync solves this, enabling of disabling NTP servers doesn't seem to do anything. Does anyone recognizes this or know how to solve this?

Do you have some pics or advise on how to attach the blower to the WSJ?

Thanks, I'll try that. It seems that the 733 probes are actually different then the probes used before. So I already ordered a pack of ET72-probes from Maverick, they will work for sure. I'll try your setpoint options tonight, and I'll mail Maverick! Edit: the probes are not recognised at all...

Thanks, I'll try that tonight. I hope you mean degrees Fahrenheit, because temperatures below 90 Celcius (194F) are relevant of course Edit: no, puttings the probe in hot water does not change a thing, HM still says 'no probe'.

I thought I could use the Maverick ET-733 probes on the HM 4.1, als the ET-732 seem to work. But I don't get a reading at all when attaching these probes to my HM 4.1. I tried inserting them millimeter by millimeter because the pins are a bit longer then the ET-72 ones, but nothing happens...
