    MoJoe Griddle

I tried it yesterday. The weber Q 220 doesn't get hot enough. 320 was about the highest temp I got on the griddle surface.

    MoJoe Griddle

I found a new use for my griddle. Last night I turned it upside down on my kettle and used it for cooking with a dutch oven. When I finished, I was looking for a place to set the griddle in my garage. There was a Weber Q 220 sitting there on a stand. I raised the lid and found that the griddle...

    MoJoe Griddle

We made philly cheese steak sandwiches yesterday. We like it more every time we use it!

    MoJoe Griddle

I just finished it last night. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. We are going camping in a couple of days. Hoping to use it a lot. I think I have watched all the videos of the Mojoe. Loved them all! I told a friend's wife about the Mojoe several weeks ago. Hope they will look you up. My wife...

    MoJoe Griddle

I made my version of the Mojoe. I think the price they are asking for them is fair. If you don't have a welder and a torch you won't save any money making one yourself.

    Checked thermometer in 14.5 lid

I checked second thermometer in boiling water. It was off about 4 degrees. I will keep an eye on it. Will check at different stages of the cook.

    Checked thermometer in 14.5 lid

I have been using the thermometer in the lid I usually shoot for 250. Have had trouble getting it there. We checked the temp with another thermometer. When the lid says 200, it is really in the 265 range at the top grate. Should have checked it by now.

    MoJoe Griddle

I may try to make one. I'm afraid I won't be satisfied with anything less than the real McCoy. If I make one, I'll post my results.

    Has anyone done a comparison

I did a few smokes on my mini before I got the 14.5. Here is what I noticed. The mini leaves the meat with a creosote like taste. It wasn't as bad if you let the mini burn for a while before putting the meat on. The mini will also run a lot longer on a bowl of charcoal. I think the mini holds...

    14.5 so easy to use!

Everything about the 14.5 WSM is so easy. It's easy to handle, the cooking grates are small enough to wash in the kitchen sink, doesn't use much fuel, doesn't take near as much foil to cover the water pan, and temp control is easy just like the other WSM models. This little smoker is going to...

    Hello from Arkansas!

Hello all, Have been a lurker here for many years. Finally had to make a post when I got my new 14.5 WSM the other day. I have been a fan of Weber products since 1999 when a neighbor talked me into buying the 18.5 WSM. Cheers, David

    First time with 14.5

Did a fattie and some baby back ribs. Think I will really like it! I bought an 18.5 in 1999. I sold it last year and bought the 22.5. It is just too big for most of my cooks, however I did find a great use for the middle section of the 22.5. It makes a great wind break for the small smoker on...
