    Performer Lid

I agree here too that I like this feature on the performer. I find that is is faster the get the lid out of the way and tend to the food. With the OTS and my older 26" I have to search for the hook somewhat to set it on the side of the bowl.......but my face does get warm in the winter months...

    my 3 new projects

Those look like some nice projects to start on. Man I looked for a blue or red stainless forever, had to settle for a brand new black performer a while back. Still happy! Cant wait to see the progress too.

1st food post, new craycorts, wings, chuck eyes!

Dave, so far I love the craycorts. Some have talked about them being a pain in the butt to remove to start coal and keep rust free. I have had no problems at all. I brush the grates clean and oil after EVERY cook and I like to do it. I was on vacation for over a week. The craycorts sat on my...

What was your best kettle accessory purchase?

With Father's Day around the corner I am looking to hit the wife up with some suggestions for a gift. I have been eyeing some Craycort grates recently due to how nice of a crust the CIG's put on my steak with the Q120. I use my performer the most, but I do use all of them on occassions. I have...

    Heat distribution on a q120

Howard - if you want to get the q120 (as I did) to do the "quick" weekday steak, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, then this grill is perfect. I use it for a family of 4 and it cooks a steak perfectly. I have had no issues with heat distribution when cooking several steaks, they all seem to have...

    Help: Q100 vs. Q120

I need some advice from you guys as to which Q to get. I plan on using the Q for my "lazy" quick weeknights where I want to grill up some hamburgers, hotdogs, or chicken breasts (Family of 4). Everything else is pretty much charcoal for me. I want to use this on my back screened in porch. Is...
