The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

That works great! Thanks for all your help. I still have one problem. My old graphite fitting for the roto-damper won't fit this. When my fire temp gets above 500F, the temp of the metal mounting tube gets up to ~300F and the rectangular to circular adapter softens and sags due to the weight...

The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

OK. I just checked that I only need the 2 wire fan: "If you have a third blue wire on your fan (RPM sense) just cut it off as HeaterMeter does not provide RPM monitoring. A little heatshrink tubing makes a really nice connection." The F00 designation is for the tachometer wire. Delta does not...

The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

Hmm. I forgot to order the 15cfm fan. Does anyone know what model is needed and where I might find one?

Thanks Bryan, i should be able to find the servo and I appreciate your supplying the ethernet jack. How can I make the arrangements? My direct email is webdove@gmail.com. Thanks, Web

The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

1 3/8 ~= 35mm. That should work perfectly. Is anyone willing to sell me the parts for the 15cfm version of the adapt-a-damper with that round adapter?

    BGE Stoker Blower-how to mount?

My current rotodamper looks like this. It has a 1.25” conduit tube on the plate and a graphite round to rectangular adapter for low heat transfer. For the 15cm version of the adapt-a-damper it appears that I will need a 1” round conduit fitting with extra fiberglass tape since the guru adapter...

Do you happen to know that diameter?

The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

Mine is 33.8 x 26.3. Much smaller. Does the large adapt-a-damper have a rectangular to round adapter? Mine ends in a 35.8 mm round opening.

The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

Hi, Is anyone willing to sell me the components for a 15cfm adapt-a-damper? I have an early Beta roto-damper that I love, but the extra fan output would be helpful. Also I need to know if it has the exact same outside rectangle measurements as the roto-damper. I have a custom made graphite...

    Stable Firmware Release v14

I downloaded a fresh copy without the customization of wifi and it seems better now.

    Stable Firmware Release v14

This is my configuration page. I had downloaded the “pre-configured” image. I am trying the “non-preconfigured next”. The images are here. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sg6fyytqhrel3r8/AADU7-oKtzCgKTxSeXVthgbna?dl=0

    Stable Firmware Release v14

Any idea why the latest version with my version 4.2 is ignoring lid openings. I have it set to 2%.

    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

I think I have the tool to pull the pins on the existing female socket, so I will probably re-solder the new leads to them given that I only need the one. Hopefully I can look for low impedance between the black fan lead and the black servo lead since I unplugged the servo without paying...

    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

Mine has a white female 2 pin PCB connector. Interestingly, when I looked more carefully it appears that the fan blades actually melted due to heat exposure.

    INTRODUCING: the "Roto Damper"

Hi Ralph, My RD3 blower died. Fortunately I had the high flow RD to use temporarily. I found a 108-BFB0512VHD at mouser, but I forgot that the female PCB connector must have come with your parts. Do you recall that part number or identity? I don't have any part info in my notes and I...
