    The reason for the question is this. I use mustard in comps and for smoking around the house, but now I have been asked to smoke 8 butts for the church and was thinking if I could rub with mustard before hand then rub my rub on them it would save time. I do like the bark I get from mustard but...

    OK here it is, if I rub mustard on a butt and leave it in the fridge for 48 hrs then add rub will it... Help the taste? Will it make the meat mushy? Will it ruin the meat? I always use mustard then rub but never let just the mustard sit for that amount of time

    My brother in-law ask me, can you smoke me a butt for work? Well I said yes and this is the one he brought me. 10lb 11 oz butt that is and he said, I want it done in that infrare cooker of your since you talk about it all the time. So here it is All rubbed and ready to go into the SRG...

    1st true BBQ comp with my SRG's

    This was a local BBQ comp put on by a church using KCBS rules for backyard cooking so gas was aloud in this comp. But this year they went for the full KCBS rules where no gas or eletric is aloud. Now this is the reason I'm looking into the WSM cooker.

    1st true BBQ comp with my SRG's

    These are pictures of a BBQ comp I was in with two really good friends. I put my SRG's up against real smokers, Big Green Eggs and pull behind type smokers. I took 2nd in chicken, 6th in ribs and 7th in pulled pork, that's 4th over all finish for the TMB Big Easy Grilling Team.
