Does the time need to be set after every startup?

Yes this fixed it, I am now getting ping replies so I assume the time setting works now too. :) Thanks Bryan!

Does the time need to be set after every startup?

This doesn't work. I can get to my HM from outside my network though (tried from my phone while not on wi-fi as well as from work), doesn't that mean that it has access to the internet? When clicking the ping button it returns "ping: bad address '0.openwrt.pool.ntp.org'" . Any idea on how I can...

Does the time need to be set after every startup?

I did set my time zone and that one comes up correct and I don't have to change it every time but the time is still wrong. It looks like the time stops when I unplug it and continues when I plug it back in.

Does the time need to be set after every startup?

Hi, Every time I start up my HM the time is wrong. When I go to Configuration > System > System and click "Sync with browser" and then "Save & Apply" the time is correct. Under NTP server candidates I have the default 0.openwrt.pool.ntp.org through 3.openwrt.pool.ntp.org. I have tried with...

    Archive suddenly empty

Hi, I had 3 runs saved or "stashed" on my HM. Today I plugged it back in and wanted to take a look at one of them and they are all gone. Does anyone have any idea how this can happen or what I can do to get them back? Previously the saved ones always showed up the next time I plugged the HM...

Can't access HeaterMeter from outside my network

I did not! But I added it now and it is working :) I can see now why you would prefer the static DHCP. I probably just change it to that. Thank you so much for your help and solving my problem, I appreciate it. Now I can go to the store and buy more beer while keeping an eye on the temperatures ;)

Can't access HeaterMeter from outside my network

I am using a Linksys WRT54G and found a setting "Filter Internet NAT Redirection" under Security. It was unchecked. When checking this box I no longer can access the HM from inside my network and still also not from outside the network. I am not sure if this is the setting you mean but it sounds...

Can't access HeaterMeter from outside my network

I took down my IP cam which was on port 8081 and changed the HM to use this one, I also adjusted the port forwarding. It still behaves the same way as described above. As my webcam was working fine on 8081 I think I can rule out that my internet provider is blocking the incoming port but it was...

Can't access HeaterMeter from outside my network

Hi, I just put together my HeaterMeter (using Pi A+) and started to set it up. Everything seems to be working fine so far except the fact that I cannot access it from outside my network. Here is what I did to set it up after connecting a Keyboard to the USB and my TV to the HDMI port: 1...
