Adding protective plastic to Weber Summit Charcoal Grilling Center storage shelf

Nice idea Chris. I went the easy way and put the felt furniture protecters on the bottom of the charcoal bin. As far as a smoker, the Summit has done a great job so far. I even sold my WSM to a friend. Next I'll be selling the 26.75 kettle. Still need to do an overniter though, maybe some...

Weber Summit Charcoal Grilling Center First Cook

Pork looks great Mike! That's the nice thing about the Summit, easy to clean the ash out, as opposed to the WSM.

Weber Summit Charcoal Grill / Grilling Center Owners Thread

I've had my grill center for about 6 weeks now. 1) I had the same trouble cleaning the center grate. After awhile I finally learned where to apply pressure and where to put the brush so that it covered both grades evenly. 2) Did my first smoke Memorial weekend. Baby back ribs and chicken. At...

I got over to TJ's last night to scope out the tri tips. I was disappointed when I saw the packaging. They had pcs of tri top vacuum packed. They didn't even weigh a lb. I'm used to Costco's where I would get the whole roast anywhere from 2 to 3 lbs. So I took a pass. And so my quest continues...

    Kettle pizza oven ?

Joe- Pizza looks great! How big of a cutout did you make in the lid? I have an extra lid and may give this a try.

Looks Good! I'll have to give it a try. Did you use bone in or boneless?

I called my local Trader Joes and they did have them. Although I specifically had to ask for the plain. He said they sell more marinated then plain. I will be heading there tomorrow to pick up a couple and feast out Friday Night!
