The Adapt-a-Damper - Open Source Project

I would like to print a Adapt-a-Damper but because I have to use a 3d print service I would like to make really sure to have selected the right parts to be printed. Preconditions: BBQ-Guru ceramic style adaptor RDTC-board V6.3 Delta 50mm 6.7cfm orderer from Bryan with the HM-Kit Part list...

    Case for RDTC board v6.3

Today I finished soldering my RDTC board and started to wire up the Heatermeter and add the rocker switch to choose from internal vs. external TC pit probe. Is there a case design available for using the board standalone (w/o attaching it to a damper)? I found one for the v5 version of the...

    RDTC boards arrived

Found a better solution: a guy in a German electronics forum collects orders from other forum members and does order from Mouser every Monday, if the volume exceeds 65€. The process is kind of semi-automated. Shipping costs are very low.

    RDTC boards arrived

Mouser has a german website and a branch in Munich, not sure where they ship from. I already tried to find the needed parts at different german electronic suppliers, but was not successful for most of the parts :( They charge 20€ if the order is <60€. Will try to find some tools to order with my...

Thanks Ralf! That's what I guessed, but looking at the shipping costs Mouser is charging I wanted to be sure :)

    RDTC boards arrived

Going to order the parts from Mouser, there are two types of 2.5mm jacks in the project (I'm going to build the board w/ two thermistors and TC): If https://www.mouser.de/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=161-3403-Evirtualkey11180000virtualkey161-3403-E is available I can omit...
