I've had bad experiences soldering... I'd have no problem buying all the components, but I'd have to find someone with the ability to do a good solder job.

that's one of the cleaner ones I've seen. I don't know why, but it seems like every grate and top lid of these are pretty nasty on most used ones. I don't know if its the design that leads to this or what.
holy moses.... I have a summit and I do the simplest of the simple for maintenance... and my cabinet looks nothing like that. I wonder if they had a grease fire.
and the stainless hose (yellow) is typically for natural gas installations.... there should be a hose with regulator for propane...
