I cant wait to see everyone tomorrow...gonna be a good one i hope. The A's are already doing good so now its up to our smokers to follow suit. Is everyone bringing their WSMs or just the Kettles?
So how many people are going into the actual game itself? Are we just all planning on going into the game or having a neutral place to WSM It Up and hang out??
Hey bro something that has come in majorly handy for me is an old military wool blanket. If you fold it right the top vent is not covered and it hangs down enough to not block the bottom vents as well. Keeps the heat in way better if there is wind or cold out. Im sure you can use any old blanket...
I have done this too myself recently...i didnt have too much salt in my rub though. I also applied more rub to it just before i put it on as well. If my meat is done and not too seasoned i also add more rub to the bowl of pork and mix it in as well.
Yeah you can fit two or three on just the top rack not to metion the bottom rack as well. I let mine rest in foil, then towels into a cooler for an hour or two if i have the time. Im doing a whole packer this weekend for a meetup as well. Its a dog party so this should be interesting.
Thanks guys...yeah i have two grills i cant really identify postively yet...a Red 22 and a Brown/Sunburst 18 inch,Sea Foam Green three metal handles. I have to look for more marks...on bot the Green an Brown there is only a 7 on the damper up top
Dude! Bro! That looks amazing...i have all the veggies and was wondering what i should do with them....I just found out! Damn i cant wait til tomorrow....i have a TriTip on the WSM which i usually grill but had some time to smoke it today.
Agreed with all said above...esp the part about getting going on the charcoal Weber 22' grills. I reccommend a chimney starter too if you dont have one yet. ACE hardware has alot of stuff Weber to get ya going too. WSM all the way bro...and if you dont like it....You can mail it to me. Oh yeah...
Hey everyone....been browsing this place for years but recently signed up. I know this site is great and it got me thinking about how old my grills were so i actually found a site that helps with this too. I hope im not stepping on VWB toes with this but its good for info as well...
