    StokerLog Installation Question

Problem resolved. Stokerlog is not forward compliant with .net and .net is not backwards compliant as stated. Must use v2.0 not 4.0 on an XP machine.

    StokerLog Installation Question

I had a hard drive reinstall and went to install StokerLog and I can't get beyond the "Must install .net 2.0" screen. I am running WinXP Pro. I went to the site and the current version is .net 4.0 and says it is compatible with back versions. When I try to return to the install file and it asks...

    Storing Stoker in Deck Box

Had a nice digital camera once I decided to put in a sealed bag so it would not get wet in the canoe. Seems the contrast in temperatures between morning and afternoon was enough to produce moisture inside the bag. Had to buy a new camera, I never seal anything up that has electronics and is...

    Cleaning Stoker pit probe

Looks similar but the part where it removes rust has me wondering about the abrasiveness. I bought a pack of scouring pads at the hardware store and this is what they are http://beta.jmk-iit.com/Produc...aspx?productID=00950 I know that these aren't too abrasive.

    Stokerlog Version 6

Amir, Sorry, I must be an idiot as I searched for your last post which clarified the field values and did not find it. Would it be possible to repost that? I use gmail so I kept the initial values that were with the original program. Thanks

Mine came from Rock's with a green nylon scrub pad, about 4" X 6" (non-metallic). Works great.

    Stokerlog Version 6

Has anyone ever found an answer as to why the e-mail feature doesn't work on some computers? I am using a gmail account as always. I upgraded to v6.6 and lost the ability to e-mail, I had it before on earlier versions. Thanks in advance, sorry if I missed the answer somewhere in the posts. Kevin

    Stokerlog Question

Just installed the new version of stokerlog (6.6) and am having an issue with getting it to send an email. I had the earlier version working fine but am stumped. I use a gmail account so I have set my username and password, then set the "send to" section to my gmail account. I left the host...

    stoker v6

Amir, As a side note, the power cycle to the stoker is the preferred method according to John at Rock's. He said that the stoker would perform better, as opposed to using the lid open option and leaving the stoker powered up.

    Stoker - High heat problems

Chuck, Just out of curiosity, did you have the stoker fan installed correctly? The "hump" of the fan should be up. If it is installed the opposite way, the draft door is open at all times and allowing air to enter the cooker whether the fan is on or off. If you look at the fan from the front...

    The way Stokerlog stokes...

Alan, I noticed this happening a while back as well. I spoke with John at Rock's and he explained to me the way the stoker software reaches and maintains it's temperature curve. He stated that it is best to physically turn the stoker off when opening the lid, do what you have to do, close the...
