    Breakfast on the Ace Q 2200 ...

It's the only way to do indirect cooking on the Q. I know you can cook a chicken over direct heat, and the Q probably won't flare up due to its design. However, direct grilled chicken and roasted chicken have very different qualities. One is not necessarily better than the other, but they are...

    Breakfast on the Ace Q 2200 ...

I don't know that my cooking skills are that awesome, I've just been cooking a long time. Seems to have helped getting rolling with this new Q. Finally did the spatchcocked chicken on the rack. This wasn't done, just took a pic of the setup, but it was awesome. After it was done, put some KC...

Has the 2200 Fixed Regulator Issues

Dang! There was at least one post on this forum about this, but I missed it. Since I bought the grill for use at my apartment and don't plan on using it for portable uses, had I known this before, I would probably not have bothered with the conversion. How to refill one pound propane bottles...

My first post and my second cook on the Q- Grilled salmon

I wouldn't worry about it too much, salmon is not a particularly delicate fish, although it is more delicate than a beef steak. There are three keys to grilling fish, well, four, I guess. 1. dry the fish thoroughly on paper towels, and oil the fish 2. preheat thoroughly, have very hot grates...

    Breakfast on the Ace Q 2200 ...

Well, I am rapidly becoming a Q fanatic! My family lives near Philly and I work in Chicago from a small apartment. I have a Saber grill, a Weber Professional, and a drum smoker at home, but got the Q for my Chicago apartment use. Love it! So far, I've done fish, burgers, steaks, and now...

Has the 2200 Fixed Regulator Issues

I thought of that, but for my uses, this made sense, I won't be using it portable much, if at all. On the other hand, I do enjoy camping and if I end up doing that again when grandkids come, I think what I would do is buy a 1 gallon tank instead of going back to the bottle. You can use this...

Has the 2200 Fixed Regulator Issues

OK, I did my conversion today and cooked on it tonight. Works great! Many thanks to Ira B, Canadian gas fitter who gave us this excellent instruction: http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?49713-Weber-Q-low-flame-or-no-flame&p=542185&viewfull=1#post542185 Since people seem to have trouble finding...

My first post and my second cook on the Q- Grilled salmon

IMO farm raised salmon is not bad, I enjoy it. I do like the wild Sockeye when it is in season, though, but it is also 3X the price. But often the farm raised is fine.

Has the 2200 Fixed Regulator Issues

Bumping kind of an old thread, but I see this come up a lot. People seem to have trouble finding the single part that will get this done and put together several which will work, but which also increase the potential for leaks. Probably won't be any leaks if properly assembled, of course, but...

    Grilled Salmon

You are so right! I overcooked this a little but my second outing with the Q. Wild Alaskan sockeye. http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?54899-My-first-post-and-my-second-cook-on-the-Q-Grilled-salmon

My first post and my second cook on the Q- Grilled salmon

My family lives in Philly and I work in Chicago out of a small apartment. At home I have a Weber Professional, a New Braunfels, and a Saber Cast 500 P (just replaced my 15 year old Weber Genesis Silver). But I just got a fire engine red Ace Q 2200 for the Chicago place where I am by myself and...
