Just checking here for used grates before purchasing new. Need both cooking grates and charcoal grate.

My lovely wife noted I have expressed interest in a rotisserie for one of my grills. I've decided I would enjoy it better for kettle/WSM than Genesis. That lead to 22" kettle or 26.75", which lead to 22" kettle & 22" WSM... In my research thus far, it appears Cajun Bandit is the way to go...

If it's any encouragement I can agree. After looking for a couple years a 22.5 WSM popped up CL for $100. I waited a week (an opportunity to practice will power) then snagged it for $75.

I did a similar cook recently and agree with above. How many servings do you need?

I got a PartyQ for fathers day and want to get some rechargeable batteries for it. I've read folks have had issues with the nipple of some rechargeables not being long enough and causing a poor connection. Anyone find a battery that works? I plan to order from the amazon.

Hey Steve-I actually found myself rearranging slats to ensure equal spacing between them. There was a pattern, just took a bit to figure it out. I recall the slats with more centered holes when in the center of the bracket, then from there they deviated until the last slat had the greatest offset.

That's a great point Paul. I gave them a scrub down and they look good to me. With a little more work they could be better; i.e. use vinegar to remove rust spots on back, restore luster to recover from UV damage, etc. All in all, they're clean and ready to be used. I just have to finish...

Not necessarily a cost effective option, unless you can weld...disassemble grill and have new frame built with 1x1 tubing and get it power coated if there are no other options. I hope Weber customer service will come through for you.

Any tips on the best way to clean these? Hot water, simple green, scrub brush is my current game plan.
