It worked ---- make -j4 V=s # repeat this command until the build finishes clean. # was 3 times for me. Would have never thought of just retrying --- sure order must be an issue somewhere.

Steve. Could you write up the steps you did? Little confused if I need to pull final 12.09 release of openwrt or a specific commit.
