I really only cook on my summit when I am using my rotisserie or I'm in a hurry. Other wise I take my time and use charcoal....
Serious question,
If you are making hot dogs for supper do you crank up the coals? I for one think that is a waste of good coals and not worth my time or energy!
I normally figure 18 hours as a rule of thumb for time before hand. If it gets done earlier than normal I pull the bone and wrap it in foil then into a cooler. Even after 4-7 hours it's almost to hot to pull by hand!
I made the leap into charcoal this year also. After getting a hand me down 1990 kettle which wasnt in bad shape but not in good shape and learning that I loved cooking over charcoal I bought a 22 wsm and soon after that a new 22 otg. Charcoal may be a little more work but completely worth it...
I think next time im goin to try making a homemade curry sauce instead of the store bought stir fry sauce. But yea super easy and very good id recommend it to anyone!
