Thanks... it's worked out great for me. I really like yours as well. Truthfully, I spent about 2 months searching various table mods on-line, and I took the ideas that I liked, and crafted my own.

My last post is confusing. I'm confusing canopies and covers, although I have neither. I was speaking of companies that make covers, not canopies. I've seen some nice grilling canopies at SAMs Club, and they should be long enough for your set up. They are typically $400-$600.

I don't have a cover. I just used waterproof cedar stain. I guess I'm kind of wimpy as I generally don't smoke when it's raining. If you do a google search, you'll find companies that make custom covers. However, they can cost in the $100s to have made.

I do not have a cover. The table is cedar, and I stained it with Behr outdoor cedar stain. I put it in the garage in the winter, and it held up well last year. The insert is actually a granite slab, so I can use it as a cutting board or for hot plates. I did a new mod a few weeks ago, and...
