What model Genesis is this one?

Looks like an old early Genesis. No caster wheels and a basket to the right of the control panel.
I also wonder about the color of the lid.

That is a Genesis 1, the first model of the Genesis that Weber made. The 1 - 5 models preceded the more commonly seen x000 grills. Not a lot of difference except that the 1-5 grills don’t have casters on the left. Also, the 1 model has that interesting wire rack/shelf on the side. The very earliest of these came with wood slats twice as wide as the ones that followed and the slats on the bottom were arranged lengthwise. They also had black knobs, a control panel with less graphics and a metal tank gauge rather than a decal.
