Picked up 41/2 lbs. of Pork Shoulder Country Strip F/P at Stater Bros. the other day. It was on sale for .99 / lb. That's great but I'm not sure how to cook it. Can you help???

Thanks,
Larry
Oh, and any ideas on what the F/P stands for?

I think it's funny you bought something but didn't know what it was! Next time, ask the butcher. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Not sure if this is a portion of the pork butt or picnic, but since pork shoulder is mentioned I would cook it low and slow to 185-190*F internal like a pork butt.

I believe the F/P designation stands for "fresh pork", as opposed to an enhanced pork product.

Regards,
Chris
