Not a Weber owner . . . yet, but will soon be. Recently replaced my old Masterbuilt electric smoker with a Recteq BYB 1200 and realized that the shiny new smoker sitting next to my old Nexgrill disclosed exactly how bad it had gotten and that it was time to replace it. My research had narrowed it down to two grills that met most of my requirements (Broil King and Napoleon) or so I thought.

Requirements included:
  • Stainless Steel Grates
  • Side Table(s)
  • No Side Burner (never used it on my current grill)
  • Stainless Steel Diffuser Plates
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Not a requirement but a griddle insert was high on the list of wants.

I decided to stop by ACE Hardware, where I got my Recteq, and see what they had. Walked through the store and there it was, the Weber Genesis SA-E-330 Indigo model. Heavy duty construction, check; Stainless Steel grates, check; No side burner, check; Stainless Steel diffuser plates, check; Cast steel griddle included, check; Griddle storage area, check.

Plus, ACE will assemble and deliver for free. And I get to purchase from a local business.

I don’t think there’s anything that anyone can say that would change my mind, but if you want to try, go ahead.

Shoot, if it comes with a bottle of “Eagle Rare” I’m on my way for the initial cook!
Sounds like it fits your needs to the letter!
Congratulations!

HI KEVIN, WELCOME!!!!!!!!

(that is my son-in-laws name, whom I am happy to say I LOVE!!!!!!!)

That ER 101 is awesome. I also spy and Elijah Craig pirate bottle that makes me a little jealous. lol.
Speaking of the Elijah Craig, if you haven’t already, you need to try their latest version, EC Toasted Barrel. It’s so good that it almost makes me switch to it as my favorite (E. H. Taylor Small Batch is #1). I did say almost.

Oh, I've burned through 2 EC Toasted bottles already. Lol. Definitely one of my favorites. It's a staple for me now in my selection

Welcome Kevin! Is that Toasted Barrel the same as this or a different version? I had a bottle personalized for my son for Father’s Day, he hasn’t opened it yet
