The right drill kit

So lots of you put those fans on your kettles. You have to drill a hole into the kettle to make that work. I am so white collar it's just painful, so the question is , if I want to make some of these mods, what do you recommend is the right drill kit to buy ??

I start with a nail or punch and gently make a small dimple. Follow that with a 1/8" drill bit followed by a step drill.
Take your time and don't force it.

For infrequent use tools I lean towards Harbor Freight.

I do the same. You can get a pack of three different size uni-bits for about $20 if I recall.

For anything smaller than 1/2", I'll start with a small bit and work my way up. Anything larger than 1/2" and I'll be using a Step bit (Uni-bit)
