Taylor probes

I got 3 replacement probes I ordered from Taylor. They read 250 degrees in boiling water in my Maverick Remote Check and also in my Polders. They do read 212 in my Acurite but not the one I needed them for. Has anybody else run across this? Seems like some people said that the Taylor probes worked in the Polders. I got the Polders for a fairly good price over Christmas and will use their probes for my remote check since this is really where I need them but would like to get a couple of probes to replace them. Will sure take better care of probes in the future.

My 2 Taylor probes are interchangeable with my 2 Polders and read off a degree or 2 at 210 F. Other folks have experienced the same too...maybe Taylor has made changes to their probe recently.
