I hate to admit this, but DH bought some cooked ribs at the grocery store. They were B1G1F. We ate one package and not too thrilled with the sauce. So last night, DH washed off the sauce of the second package and made this to baste them with on the grill. Much better.

Sweet-Sour Pineapple Baste

1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
3/4 cup chicken broth or dry white wine
3 TB. white wine vinegar
2 TB. oil
1 TB. soy sauce
1 TB. chopped onion
1 TB. brown sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Combine all, bring to a boil and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Makes about 1 2/3 cups.

While looking for what to do with a package of ribs for this week in the BIG 3" FULL pork/rib binder, I found this. My surprise, made it already. I think I would like to try it again. It has 2 of my favorite ingredients, pineapple and vinegar.

I'm on that like ugly on an ape....all over it! I will use that as a marinade and a baste.
Love pineapple and vinegar also, as you saw in my pineapple pizza.
