Steak inspired by Cliff's Steak

So Cliff completed this amazing steak cook recently, yeah the one below
And it looked so good that I had to try to recreate it. Got a 0.6 lb Rib Eye and seasoned it just like he did salt and pepper.

Let it go direct for 3 mins then flipped. IMG_20200813_182139.jpg
3 more minutes on the other side and off the grill. IMG_20200813_182129.jpg
Let it rest for a few minutes and then cut into it. IMG_20200813_182118.jpgIMG_20200813_182125.jpg
I didn't get any plated photos because well it never hit a plate. We actually had grilled chicken salads for dinner, so steak was an appetizer, I guess. I just sliced it up and my daughter and I ate it with our fingers. It was so good, thanks for the inspiration Cliff!

Thats Rib Eye is a beauty.

Michael may be new to this forum, but he has listened and learned from some of the best cooks on this forum and is turning out some wonderful BBQ.

Bravo Michael keep them coming.
Jeff,
Thanks for the kind words, finding this site has been a game changer. The advice and openness from everyone to share knowledge is awesome.

You Bet! I used to make a cruise to a music festival with a buddy, I grilled off an extra steak the night before we left. Sliced it before we left, road food with flair! Triscuits, sliced cheese, and steak! I love it!
Yes sir, you described what Barb and I think of as perfect road food. We also like small flour tortilla wraps with meat cheese and a little lettuce.
One hand on the wheel and the other on the meal.
