I'd still grab it. I actually just hooked up a big standard tank to mine. So nice not having to worry about refilling that often.

The reason I brought up the 5lb tank is that a lot of guys would like one, but the price new is too high. There was a thread on the Gas Grill forum discussing that recently.

I always give the propane gas guy a good tip, he fills my older 5lb gas tanks no problem.
Question when they re-certify a gas tank what do they actually do? Is it the internals, valve, or rust, or a combination of all three?
