Smokey Joe Where Are You Made?

I recently bought a Snap On SJ that has no Weber markings on the box or the literature in tiny print or anywhere, the vent has Snap On. But everything from the handle grip to the legs is SJ. The vents, bowl, legs, pan and all and the little sticker on the bottom of the bowl “Made in China”. Maybe I should know but are they made there or from there and assembled in a box here?

As I understand it, all Weber grills are USA made. The caveat is many parts are sourced overseas.

The parts are made and boxed in China, and it’s built in the USA when you put it together yourself.

Even the handle has a logo. I like the speckled finish.

That speckle is fantastic. Do you think it’s porcelain?

Box said porcelain and it doesn’t appear the speckle is painted on.

Yes I know it had a very tiny made in china sticker on it. The parts are IDENTICAL to Weber though.

The Lemon Twist and Apple Krate + a Raleigh Chopper are in the bike trailer along with a two seat Rhoades car. We used to ride the Rails to Trails here in the south a lot. Very fun.
