Smoked Salmon Patties & Dessert

Smoked Salmon using Apple wood. Shredded Salmon with Forks, added Veggies, fried in Cast Iron Skillet using EVO.
Best I ever made. Triple Chocolate Cheesecake for Dessert

That looks good. I never thought of smoking the salmon before making the patties. May have to try that twist.

Here is a good recipe for a sauce to serve with salmon patties. I think it came from Cooking Light. We have made it dozens of times and love it.

6 tablespoons Hellman’s canola mayonnaise (I sub in some or all Fage Greek yogurt)
2 teaspoons capers (chopped fine) (I sometimes add a splash of the caper juice)
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Combine ingredients in a small bowl; cover and chill.
