IMG_0745.jpegHi!

I’m just cleaning up my silver c side burner which was missing the knob when I got it. Weber sent me a set of 4 new knobs however they’re all the same with the long stalk. I’ve cut this off flush with the bottom side of the knob hoping it would slide on to the side burner gas valve stem ok however it’s still not sitting low enough as per the photo. I was just wondering if somebody could please post a pic of the underside of their side burner knob so I can see what I’m aiming for?

Thanks! Josh

I don't know if this helps or not, but this is a picture and description of an actual side burner knob for a Genesis 1000 and early Silver C grills. It says the stem is 1/2 inch longScreenshot_20230703-040323.pngScreenshot_20230703-040503.png

Thanks Steve. I kinda assumed that it would sit low enough that you wouldn’t see the top nut that attaches the valve to the control panel, as you can see in my pic? Maybe I’m wrong
