Hi,

I was hoping some of you might have some advice on how to do this.

I'd like to send some ribs to my folks back home in Montreal. They are unfortunately unable, healthwise, to make a trip here to California.

I know that customs on both sides make a big deal about meats and perishables in general and I can't blame them, but is there any legal way to do this ?

UPS said that if I was a business they could help me and Fed Ex said the same.

It seems to me that there might be a form to be filled out with a notary or an inspection process. It just makes me nuts that I can't share this particular pride and joy with my family.

We can put a man on the moon but we can't ship a rack of ribs 3000 miles ? I don't want to break the law, but geeez !

There must be a way !

Any guidance would be much appreciated !

Thanks,

Marc
