After gaining the COVID-20 my wife and I went on the Keto diet. We would grab BBQ from Rudy’s on a weekly basis and spend at least $45 a week. Decided to get the WSM 18.5 and let it pay for itself. I’ve done two cooks to date, pork chops to do a sorta dry run. Then a Pork Butt the next day. Started at 225 degrees and took all of 15 hours before raising the temp. That’s when I found this site and forum. Now I’m obsessed!! Oh and the pork butt turned out great!! Look forward to learning and some day contributing.

Last week I looked at a photo of me from February compared to now and realized it was time to make some changes to the eating habits. It's not the grilling and smoking that is the problem, but the sweets and snacks that I started to change. I love this site and can not believe how much I have learned in the last 6 months.
