rainy night bratwurst

TVWBB 1-Star Olympian
out of the rain, using the DoubleD Burgandy One Touch, last night we grilled up some brats.
two each, beer & onion, Philly Cheese Steak and regular brats... all from Ray's Butcher Shoppe in Greenfield Wisconsin

poured a cold local brew...

a few Mexican onions sliced up in a round cast iron mini bowl

and served with baked beans. The brats were topped with a pickled jalapeno relish we made last summer.

and sun pickles were also gobbled up

those brat buns were made fresh at Ray's, probably the best I've ever had! Ray's makes some AWESOME sausages...
ever in the area, swing in and buy up a few dozen, they freeze well ;)

Nice Brats, Jim. Jalapeno relish is a recipe I'm googl'ing now, unless... I'm sorry though, Miller's more of a summer drink for me.
 
Great everything!!! I was looking at Rays website and I saw they have taco brats. have you ever tried them, any good?
 
Ya always have nice, quality brats, Jim. The jealousy is getting to me. Time for a trip over to my favorite German butcher here in Jersey... Kochers:

I know I'm a bit late to this thread, but Mr. Lampe, your posts always make me hungry, even after I've eaten as much as Thanksgiving Dinner!!
