Post view counter on the fritz?

For example, the Photo Gallery.
View counts in March are 300, 400, 500, or more per post.
Most of April's are showing single digits.
Or has the TVWB ship been abandoned.

Looks like all of the views are one more than the replies.

Something is off. This post had 5 views, I viewed it 3 times and it still read 5.

Yes, there's something wrong. I can find some posts with 7 replies and 0 views, which is impossible.

Tonight I will run some maintenance jobs on the database and see if that fixes things.

Bad dog. I forgot to run those maintenance jobs last night. I've stuck a note on my laptop, hopefully I'll remember tonight.

I ran the maintenance jobs and they didn't fix the problem. I then found that the database table that tracks thread view count was corrupt, so I rebuilt the table. I think it's working now.

It looks like this problem started on 4/2, and I don't think there's any way to recover the lost view count on threads between then and now. But the proof will be with new threads moving forward...view count should be greater than reply count, not just replies +1.
