Started with boneless loin chops with two different marinades. Rich's Rub and EVOO for the wife and kiddo and Korean BBQ wind sauce for me.

Marinated overnight.

Almost there.

Toasted some bolillo rolls at the end.

Plated.

Everything turned out great.

Thanks for looking.

When I saw the picture before reading the caption I thought to myself wow that looks like my rub:p Well at least I guessed right. Chops look great Pat.

That is good stuff Rich. I am going to have to mix up a batch pretty soon. I'm going to try some ribs on the new 14.5 WSM this week and will probably be using the rest of what you sent me.

Looks like some good pork chops. Seems that pork chops are coming back into favor again. When I was a kid they were always dry from overcooking. Now that we are learning how to cook them properly, they have gotten more tasty and flavorful and juicy. Congrats on a great cook.

No kidding. I love my mother to death but didn't care much for her pork chops, now I remember why.

I know exactly what you mean Pat. The only things I remember that my mom did well were top sirloin steaks and tri-top along with garlic bread. I'm sure there were other things but those are the standouts. Given the circumstances back then, I think she did a great job. It is funny how we see things after we have lived a long life and had our own children.

Pork chops & sprouts. That's a modern twist on an old school cook. Takes me back a good few years that does. Yeah, Mum's are the best. Hats-off Pat!

I'm liking what I see, Pat! Well marinated pork chops plus nicely browned sprouts sounds like a great meal to me.
