Plates from a Weber electric grill on a Q 200?

I've owned a Weber Q 200 for about 10 years and its been great. My neighbor was throwing out a Weber electric grill, about the same size, and the grill plates were in excellent shape so I took them. Unlike my stock grill plate this is 2 pieces but they fit on my Q200 just fine. They appear to be coated in porcelain, or something else like it.

Would it be safe to use these grill plates on my gas Q 200? thanks

No they're not made for it. The gas Q uses the grates as also their form of heat distribution. If you use the electric ones the grease will drip right into the burners and clog them in short order (like every time you cook). You could use the gas grates in the electric but not the opposite

I agree 100% with Larry. Those grates will cause your burner to be clogged unusable in short order.
