Made these for the first time yesterday. Had the 22 WSM going doing some bacon, so when I pulled the bacon I opened her up and did these at 325* for 30 minutes. Great flavor and texture combination. Good substitute for ABT's if someone doesn't like heat.

I was just looking at my post, funny that I just finished smoking some bacon, and I bought bacon to make these. I guess the bacon I make is "too good" to be used experimenting with new things. :D
 
Ned, that is one GREAT idea. My son and I were drooling looking at the pics. He told me "I'm making these". Funny...I show him a the pic of the ingredients then scroll down to the hollowed out pickles. He says to me "I really like where this is going!"
 
Fried Pickles are amazing.... ABT Pickles... Yes I'll be giving this a try for sure. My family is a little crazy about pickles. :D
 
I never heard of these, but will be trying for sure! I already printed a recipe to add in my book. :D
