Things are good here Kemper, refinished floors on the first floor and upstairs landing, new 1/4 sawn oak bookcases in the living room, started in May and has taken until now to get “most” of the first floor back in a useable condition. Still more boxes of stuff to be sorted through but, I need a break. Sorting is a hard job for a loafer like me.
A couple big cooks coming up, my birthday, next week and a “summer birthday party” feed for about 40 over Labor Day weekend.
The twelve days away at the cottage was a welcome vacation, I needed the quiet!

I am glad to get the information on the dish, I wish I could eat catfish, it simply turns my stomach. Sorry.

Well the reason I’ve been gone so long is my House flooded & I had No Insurance!! Everything was ruined & had Mold & Mildew throughout!! My Church put me in a Motel for 2 Months & completely gutted & rebuilt my House!! New Sheetrock, Flooring, Carpet, Cabinets, Granite Countertops, New Appliances, Painted Inside & Outside, New Soffit & Fascia, New Decking & Roof, Repaired the Foundation, installed new Doors, new Hot Water Heater, & fixed the Plumbing!! I now have a Brand New House that I’m so Proud of!! My Grill & Smoker are still intact tho!!

That would tend to put a damper (bad unintended pun) on almost everything, glad you have a good church family that could dig in to help in this time of need.
