Greetings,
Im Dan from Orange County Ca. I’ve always bought cheap poor quality bbqs and I finally got a weber. I was looking for some fireglass on craigslist and someone posted they were giving away their weber bbq. It was around 10pm when it was posted so the pic was not very good. Long story short I picked it up. (the thing weighed a ton) I cleaned it up and inspected the burners and flavorizer bars (all in great shape)
I cleaned it up and painted the firebox and removed some rust off the lower shelf and its almost done. Its set up for N.G. and I want to convert It to L.P. Im really looking forward to grilling with this bad boy!
cheers,
dan

Welcome to the forum Dan, Real nice find I'm sure you'll get some great mileage out of that grill. Converting that one may be kinda tough. Not as common as some of the others. But there are a lot of folks on here that can give you guidance in that respect.
I lived in OC from 1962 until 2002 when we moved to Arizona.
Lived in Garden Grove, Huntington Beach and Lake Forest. Miss the great weather but not the traffic. Son and Daughter still live there so I do get my opportunity to enjoy the 405 and 5 freeways and the 91 going in and going out..
