Mystery Pecan Pie

1 unbaked pie crust (9")
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup sugar
4 eggs, divided
2 tsp. vanilla, divided
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cups pecan halves
1 cup corn syrup

1. Beat together the cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and salt in small bowl; set aside. Beat 3 eggs well; add the 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla; blend well.
2. Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of unbaked crust. Sprinkle pecans over cheese layer. Pour corn syrup mixture gently over top of pecans. Bake at 375F for 40 minutes, or until center is firm to touch.
