Margarita Marinade

Last night was Steak & Shrimp night. DH made this marinade for the both of us. (Recipe says for chicken or seafood but it was great for steak). Then he grilled them both and served them with Mexican Avocado Salad (I posted recipe here back in July). Needless to say, but everything was very delicious!!!!!!

Margarita Marinade

1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup tequila
3 TB. triple sec
2 TB. vegetable oil
2 tsp. grated lime zest
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 sugar
1/2 tsp. coarse salt
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped

Marinate chicken or steak 1 hour and seafood 30 min. to 1 hr. Makes about 1 cup
