The wife and I took the dogs clamming yesterday.
I soaked them on a strainer in a bucket of sea water with a dual bubbler on the bottom to remove the sand.
Doing this bubbler soak has always removed all of the sand, more so than any other method I’ve tried.
This was a simple kettle wok clam cook served on linguine with an Alfredo souse & clam juice and garlic bread for the dippings

I did run several large chunks of smoke wood to get a smokey flavor and that did work better than not.
I love clam dinners and this one did not disappoint.
