Hey all...made a few kebabs. 3/4 ground lamb and 1/4 beef. Flavoured with ginger, garlic, green onions, hot red chili, cumin, zataar balady and some other stuff. Zataar is a traditional lebanese flavouring.

Enjoy the pics. Flickr pics show up small now, so I've also linked the slide show.

Woah!!!! That sounds and looks great. I've seen ground kabobs like this a few times, but have never tried it. It seems like a great way to cook different ethnic foods. I would love to try Lebanese, Greek, or even Bosnian flavors this way.

Well done. I'm jealous.

Hello !

I love this kind of Kabob ! In my hometown people call it "Lulya Kebab".
The hard part of it - is keep meat on the skewer...
That's why I add lamb fat to the ground meat, and use wider skewers ;-)

Here are my couple pictures:

Yeah, that is the way we make them also, the zataar we usually have on bread. I am Lebanese and all the food you are preparing looks exactly like ours. "GEE-FEEK".
