Wife was gone all weekend for one of dem fer "girls getaways" ... So me and the boys sat around all weekend playing deck hockey, went to the Penguins hockey Prospects scrimmage, watching shows on TV that mama don't allow and just plain ole burping and farting all weekend with no "excuse me" required...

Wanted to cook up something we hadn't had in awhile ..
And try some sriracha shrimp that I have been craving

Quick pic of the flash flood that hit my hometown (DuBois, Pa) downtown area .. The building on the left is a historic RR station that has been fully restored and now houses Law offices
Got about 3-4 feet of water on the streets

For the garlic sriracha shrimp kebabs...forgot to add cilantro and lime juice to the pic... Only used about 2-3 TB of the juice from the jalapeño jar

Two more skewers of shrimp in this... (Made by Rick Bayless restaurant) for da lil yinzers

Veggies to be used for kabobs... The yellow/jalapeño peppers as well as zukes are rescued from mine and father in laws portion of our garden that was spared from the flood

Sriracha shrimp bath

Some kielbasa for Monday (grill once, eat twice)

Zukes on da flip with a lil EVOO and garlic salt

Chicken kabobs ---2 ways (Stubbs chicken marinade and other in ital drsg)

You gotta love a full grill... Basted the veggie kabobs with a bottled balsamic viniagrette

Shrimp on the flip... A lil late to the party

The pic of the flood is from my hometown where I grew up ... My mother, brother and In-laws still live there...It was about 3 weeks ago.. Everything cleaned up and back in order ... Except for a few roadways that were washed out/away...
Lost about 25% of our total garden area... We have 4 different areas totaling close to 1/4 acre...
