Janesville WI alert

Larry, in prepping for my latest rehab, I figured I would do a Silver B this time. I had two of them waiting, both virtually identical to that one. I wound out taking them both apart and one frame was a total loss and the second is a surface rust mess. I wound up having to scrounge and old Silver C frame to transfer my project over to which also had too much rust, but still less than the two silver b's. Those cabinets are just pure rust magnets. Besides it being a given that you will have to scrap the floor pan and likely the sides and back, the rust usually migrates to the frame itself. If not, you have something to work with. But, you still will have to add two cross member to replace the stability provided by the floor pan. So, unless you have the time, tools and parts, those grills are usually less than prime for rehabbing. They make great parts grills though.
