A few of us were gathered around talking S, and Bill said have you ever tried the chicken wings from the Mexican market on 19th and Placentia
I said no and he said you better give them a try, I guarantee you’ll like them. He was absolutely right. They are marinated in orange juice and lime juice and the rest they won’t tell me.

Here’s a picture, iv oven baked them, put them on the gasser and the Vortex. They come out great every way.

Yes thats the location, but its now Los Novillos Market. El Matate closed in 2022.

I call the full wings, Flappers. They are crowd pleasers. For those liking the beautiful color, you can obtain that color using Chef Merito Chicken Wings HOT Seasoning. I don’t know why they capitalize Hot, it’s warm, but not hot
