While reading all of the issues with these, I have held off until this point. Overall, I did not see any issues or rust. Two and a half miles from my house, full propane tank, cover, manual, and delivered. All for $350. Decided to take the plunge into the challenges Summit series. Filet Tail, Brussels Sprouts and roasted potatoes tonight for the first cook.

Definitely seems to be a very rare find! I love the black hood and doors vs. all stainless which to me is very bland. (That's just me.)

Take extra good care of it, and hopefully you will get a good long run on the starship of grills!

IIRC, you can still register on Weber.com, even after a grill has been registered by another owner. When you seek Weber support, they’ll see the ownership trail if the grill has been previously registered.

Meaning, don’t get false hope that you “registered “ on Weber.com.

I had tried to register a grill once and could not do it as it was previously registered. You mileage may vary.
